Day 7

Pure Bliss.

Your soul is not of this world, your body is…

The Sahasrara or Crown Chakra, “the bridge to the cosmos” is the seventh chakra. It represents that we are a divine being having a human experience on this Earth.

When working on this chakra, We’re acknowledging to ourselves and the world that you we are ready to dissolve separation, that we are ready to integrate with everything, and that we are ready to transcend the physical world for a more spiritual experience.

When this chakra is balanced, a source of enlightenment, spiritual connection, and connection to our higher selves is present.

When out of alignment, we mistake happiness as an exterior trait when in truth, it’s created from within. Or quite the opposite, we can be hyper sensitive to the divine aspect of Self, and struggle to function in normal day-to-day activities.

My intention behind today is:

Experiencing unity and the selfless realization that everything is connected at a fundamental level. “oneness”

Meditation 7

Find your most comfortable tall seat in a preferably quiet place, and let’s explore.

Yoga session 7

*If you want to jump right into practice, please skip to min 8.

I would like to leave you to explore what this chakra means to you and how you can find your connection to balancing this energy. Therefore I have created the below handout for you to explore so many different ways and aspects that you can awaken and heal this space.

Chanting session 7

Gayatri Mantra is one of the oldest and most powerful of sanskrit mantras.

For ages it was a well guarded secret and out of the reach for the “common man”. It was believed that for an individual to truly realize the meaning behind this mantra it meant that he/she transcended all boundaries of consciousness and ultimately unites with God* him/herself. *God being whatever the highest power is believed to be.

In sanskrit each of the words from this mantra is a powerful beautiful word with a deep meaning, therefore in the Vedas, it is said that the more you chant this mantra, it opens up the seven chakras of the body.

I could NOT think of a better mantra to close our journey with as I hope you have been able to connect with your highest self and find the highest of powers within you!

Steffi Bichweiler, We are so grateful for your contribution! @go.cyclic Could not have asked anyone else to guide us through feeling these vibrations and leading us to this point. You are pure love and pure magic!

Lastly…

“Your Soul is not of this World, Your Body Is”

“All day I think about it, then at night, I say it. Where did I come from, and what am I supposed to be doing? I have no idea. My soul is from elsewhere, I’m sure of that, and I intend to end up there.”_ Rumi

Let that poem sink in and if you are feel inspired to journal about your experience and jot down your feelings, questions, thoughts I would like to leave you with the following prompt:

7) Remember, your bravery and hard work is going to make your life a lot better, easier and more fun.

I remember after finishing my Yoga teacher training I felt incredible but very unsure … what’s next. I had tasted a drop of a magical ocean, perhaps I even dipped my toe in it but I was left wanting more.

We start every Yoga class with setting an intention for our practice and that will guide us even through the hardest of power vinyasa flows. Same principle applies to our lives.

With a clear intention about the future you envision, you’ll find making decisions easy. All you’ll need to do is ask yourself if a given choice will take you closer to or farther from that future. The best part: You’ll begin to realize that you have the power to co-create the life you desire. And whatever happens along your journey, one thing is certain: You’ll begin to create a life that lights you up, makes you excited, makes you fulfilled, and has you living into your life’s purpose and mission in a centered, empowered way. Asking this question is the first, all-important step. After all the work you have done to this point I’m sure you have realized that often the answer is deep inside you but we have forgotten to listen to our inner-voice.

If you’re not sure of the answer, look at your day 1 notes and what you have journaled so far, thats the magic of journaling. You can always look back at your own self, see how far you have come!

If you are still not sure, or you want a fresh start, go for it!

Get out a blank sheet of paper and write, “What do I really want?” Then, take a deep breath. Continue to breathe deeply, centering your attention in your body, for as long as you need for your mind to calm and your thoughts to fall away. Then, let your pen simply write your answer from this deeper place of feeling and knowing. Don’t let the thoughts or judgments that are sure to pop up sway you. Just keep writing what your intuition tells you.

You are limitless!

And from the very bottom of my heart I thank you for taking this journey with me and I’m always here, listening!
